Biodiversity is crucial!

Firstly, I would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which we farm, and pay respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

My main focus is in the soil, because once that is in balance and alive, my job is easy. When things are in balance, I watch birds perch on nearby trees and scoop up the bugs that eat crops. I love the feeling of being part of the system that supports us.

I started working on various organic farms, then designed and built Permaculture gardens. Currently I’m starting a small-scale vegetable farm in Verrierdale, Sunshine Coast.

My passion is to connect people with the food that they eat, and to grow the most nutrient dense and delicious vegetables possible.

Biodiversity is crucial for life on earth, and it's fragile. Things as small as fungus and microscopic organisms play a huge role in the health of our planet. They are small, we can easily overlook their importance. I am excited by seeing how regenerative farming practices enhance and strengthen the environment, rather than destroy it.
