Barbequed barramundi is the go for a slow summer evening with family and friends. Stuff it with ginger and herbs and a lick of butter if you go for a whole fish, or a spicy macadamia crust if you want fillets that will wow the fussiest palate. There is a seemingly endless array of recipes on the internet – find one that smells good!! and go for it or try this one recommended by the grower.

Put out some of these icy cold bottles and you won’t need Christmas decorations. I’m serious. As part of our Farmers For Your Festive Feed campaign we have been fortunate enough to get to know some pretty impressive local producers and makers. There are however few that match the energy of Jacki from Blue Dog Farm. Aside from being a very active advocate in the space, Jacki grows microgreens for her ‘really fancy’ salad, packed full of as much flavour as she is!

The creative behind the Dayboro based micro flower farm, Aimee Porter, has been growing and arranging since 2017. Bringing weddings and events to life all year round with her seasonal flowers and foliage, Aimee has turned her expertise to constructing wreaths for the holidays.
